R. Scott Baker
Scott Baker was raised in Carson City, Nevada. He graduated from Carson High School in 1963 and joined the United States Air Force serving in Japan, the Philippine Islands, and St. Louis, Missouri. After completion of his service commitment, he enrolled at Missouri State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and business finance. He then attended the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 1975. After graduation Scott took a position as legal counsel to the Nevada State Division of Insurance. In 1979 he was hired as general counsel for the Nevada Industrial Commission in the Carson City office and later that year Governor Robert List appointed Scott as the State Industrial Claimants Attorney. Two years later he entered private practice and in 1985 Scott and Ray formed their current partnership. Their primary goal is to provide effective and experienced legal representation to injured people.
Ray Badger was born in Boston on October 11, 1951. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 and McGeorge School of Law (University of the Pacific) in 1977. He has been an advocate for the rights of injured workers before the Nevada Legislature for almost 30 years. He has received awards from the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and the AFL-CIO for his lobbying efforts on behalf of Nevada's working families. Since 1982, Ray has limited his law practice to the representation of injured people in the state and federal courts of Nevada.
